Craftsman Garage Door Opener Repair in Houston, TX
Craftsman is the brand homeowners worry about most, because Sears is gone and people assume the parts went with it. For most Craftsman openers still running in Houston homes, that assumption is wrong — and your model number settles the question in about ten seconds.
Opener acting up? Most Craftsman calls get a same-day slot.
Look at the model number before you replace anything
If your Craftsman model number starts with 139, it was built by Chamberlain Group under contract for Sears. It shares a great deal with LiftMaster and Chamberlain units, and parts are straightforward to source. If it starts with 200, it is a newer unit made after Guardian took over the Craftsman name in 2018 — a different machine with a different parts supply. The number is usually printed on a label on the back or the side of the motor housing. Send us a photo of it and we will tell you where you stand before anyone books a visit.
